We offer large slab flattening and wood planing / jointing services. After your materials come out of the kiln, we can make them ready for your project, or you can bring in material for us to finish. We can flatten or plane a wide range of wood sizes with the equipment in the shop.

Our industrial Grizzly Jointer and Planer can handle widths of up to 16” and 20” respectively, and our Wood-Mizer MP280 Planer/Moulder can finish all four sides of a plank at once. See Our Equipment page for details of these tools.

Our Wood-Mizer CNC flattener table can flatten slabs up to 6’ wide and 18’ long. The 5” cutter head is remote controlled and can flatten slabs efficiently with minimal thickness loss.

In addition to our flattening and planing capabilities, we also have a large router table and laser engraving table. We are able to truly customize a sign, mantel, or other unique project you have in mind!
